Hi all, re. FDA Ciclosporine draft guidance: Does anyone know where I should start to get to grips with Earth-mover's distance for real and in practice? Wikipedia, the reference indicated in the guidance and some random googling hasn't given me a solid basis for understanding anything, much less for doing anything of value with it. Note that the footnote opens up the possibility of using some other statistical similarity measures, and I hope to go that way, but let us for the purpose of this thread discuss EMD only    — Pass or fail!
