Dear members,

Kindly suggest what should be the ideal time between blood collection and centriguge for separation of plasma. what is the maximum time blood can be kept on table before centrifuging.

Dear Chirag,

The problem is not the stability of blood, which could remain on the benchtop for a couple of hours without any impact on your assay. The problem is the stability of your analyte in whole blood. As this varies from analyte to analyte, it is not possible to give a general rule. Refer to answers to your previous post on the same topic.
