Not sure what you mean there. Memantine is BCS I (see also FDA’s guidance) with a long half life, but tmax (as expected) occurs early. We found the following (in hours):
                       tmax (median, quartiles)  t½ (xharm, ±SD)
2×5 mg tablets (n=12):      4.0 (4.0, 6.0)         49.7 ( 8.8)
10 mg tablets (n=36) :      5.0 (4.0, 6.0)         53.0 (10.6)
10 mg tablets (n=36) :      5.5 (4.0, 8.0)         54.4 (11.3)
10 mg Akatinol (n=36):      5.0 (4.0, 6.0)         54.9 (12.9)
