AIC or ARS as the best fit criterion? [🇷 for BE/BA]

I've got your points. Great. Now which criterion of the best fit should we use for the combo method? AIC or ARS? Looks like more people will vote for AIC, I guess. It should be implementable, too, with R. or both? Leave the option to the users to decide?
