Overall and Subpopulation p value consideration [General Sta­tis­tics]

Hi,all

If whether the statistical analysis result is significant in the overall population or a subpopulation (multicenter study design) could be considered as a significant result for the clinical trail, should the alpha the same as common BE study? Is there any difference in the hypothesis test and statistical analysis process?
