Getting variance components from the lmer output [🇷 for BE/BA]
❝ Yijk seems to be a PK paramenter of interest... Residual you've extracted seems to be pooled both formulations.
Dear VStur,
Thanks for your reply. You are right, Yijk is PK characteristic of interest. The design is 2 sequence 2 treatment and 4 period design(TRTR/RTRT). More clearly, I want to extract between subject variances (sigmaBT^2, sigmaBR^2), within subject variances (sigmaWT^2, sigmaWR^2) under the test and reference formulation, also subject-by-formulation interaction (sigmaD^2 = sigmaBT^2 + sigmaBR^2 - 2*rho*sigmaBT*sigmaBR). Is it possible to obtain all of these estimates from the summary(lmer_model), or do I need to do an extra step to obtain those values?
Thanks in advance
