Hello Forum Members:waving:,

What is the difference between Studentized Outlier test and Lund’s method for detection of Outliers?

As far as I understand both methods were different.

In Studentized outlier test, externally studentized residuals are used for the comparison with the critical value calculated with Bonferroni’s correction.

Whereas for other one internally studentized residuals (standardized residuals) are used for the comparison with the critical value calculated using the Lund’s Table.

Whether my understanding is correct or not:ponder:?

Any statistician in the forum, kindly correct me if I am wrong.

Best Regards,
GM
