That's the temperature for long-term storage. Unless the drug is extraordinarily unstable (should we then refrigerate the subjects ?) and the labelling requires that patients keep it at 2-8°C until the last few seconds before they take the product, I would not bother about the few minutes it will take to dispense the drug. Same for light protection of solid dosage forms (I've never seen a labelling that required the patients to have a sodium vapour lamp at home).
