Greetings!

I have been facing a paradox with a specific solid dosage formula with rapid dissolution rate. When conducting the dissolution test at three conventional pH the %release of the test product at 4.5 pH lowers upon reaching the max %release in 5 mins and then reaches a plateau. This does not happen for the RLD at the same pH and the performance for both product at all remaining pH is similar.

I have faced this before with rapid dissolution products but i would really like to have a scientific explanation on this.

Any ideas?

Thank you
