I have a question about max MRD.

You calculate it from vector m_dg    <- cbind(rep(dg, p))
where dg is same positive value (often 10% - max inter-batch difference).
I wonder -why only positive value?

I suppose, max inter-batch difference is absolute value, and may be positive or negative, or it is my mistake?

I modeled vector m_dg like m_dg <- c(10,-10....), of course, results were various.
